ACI Capital Co., LLC is a middle-market private investment firm that has generated superior risk-adjusted returns for over 50 years by partnering with management teams to build valuable companies. ACI has more than $500 million of equity capital under management, including the $355 million ACI Capital Investors II, LP fund raised in 2006. ACI Capital invests directly in U.S. middle market companies and special situations. While the firm does not limit its search by company size, most of the businesses ACI evaluates have revenues in the $25-$500 million range, an operating cash flow of at least $5 million, and an enterprise value between $50 and $300 million. At times, however, ACI and its partners will invest in substantially larger companies. The firm's investments include certain segments of the consumer, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and chemicals sectors. ACI seeks to invest between $20 and $50 million of equity in any given transaction, with the possibility of obtaining additional capital from limited partners or by partnering with other investors in situations requiring larger commitments.
