Alaska Venture Partners is a privately held Alaskan company that that invest across various asset classes. Alaska Venture Partners early stage/angel investing practice funds opportunities with no geographical restrictions. Alaska Venture Partners makes its investments in early-stage companies in many forms, including: Convertible Debt, Stock/Membership Unit Purchase, and Debt. Typically the firm makes investments in the $50,000 to $200,000 range. Alaska Venture Partners also provides private equity investments to mature business in two ways: (1) Through direct investment of growth capital into a business that is striving for new goals; or (2) Providing an exit opportunity when owners desire to sell their business either. The latter can be accomplished by direct acquisition of the company by Alaska Venture Partners or an Alaska Venture Partners-led ownership group; or Facilitating a Management Buy-out by providing capital (either debt and/or equity) and expertise to key management for their employee buyout of the entity.
