Alpha Venture Partners is the leading pro rata preemptive rights co-investment firm. Alpha provides early-stage venture capital firms with capital to continue to invest in their IPO track portfolio companies and maintain their pro rata rights. Additionally, Alpha Venture Partners serves as an advisor to Pritzker Group Venture Capital (PGVC) and other leading institutions and large family offices. Typical investment stage is at growth stage to expansion stage rounds with a focus in the Software and Information Technology sectors, including: E-commerce, Mobile, Social, Business Process Outsourcing, Information Services and Tech-Enabled Services. On initial investment, Alpha's companies often have north of $20 million in revenue. For investments larger than $5,000,000, Alpha works with their institutional and family office limited partners which have the desire to directly invest up to $50 million. Since the majority of tech category leaders are founded in the U.S., the firm tends to invest in U.S.-headquartered private companies. However, up to 20% of Alpha's fund may invest in late stage companies internationally. The firm has worked with 24 companies (9 exits) at 5x MOIC; each sourced from their 675+ Early Stage VC network.
