AngelPad is a mentorship program founded by ex-Googler Thomas Korte to help web-technology startups build better products, attract additional funding and grow more successful businesses. Twice a year, AngelPad provides an extensive 10-week mentorship program to carefully selected startups in their San Francisco (in the Spring) and New York (in the Fall) offices. AngelPad gained attention in August 2011 after announcing that each of its startups will have the option to accept $100,000 from two venture capital firms at the start of their class. In 2012 Forbes Magazine named AngelPad a TOP 5 Global Incubator. $2.2 billion in total funds has been raised.
