Founded in 2002, the Ann Arbor Angels (A2A) is a collaborative non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between angel investors and early stage technology-based companies with an annual revenue potential of at least $50 million. The focus of the organization is to facilitate private equity and debt financing. The Angels invest mostly in early stage technology-based companies in the Greater Ann Arbor, Michigan seeking funding between $500,000 and $3 million. A2A's members do not invest in Retail or non-technology companies. The firm prefers to make investments in the following industries: Software/IT/Telecommunication, Life Sciences, Small Tech, Alternative Energy, and Industrial Tech.
