Arbor Partners, founded in 1996, is an Ann Arbor, Michigan-based venture capital firm that invests exclusively in companies creating the next-generation of enterprise software, semiconductors, and advanced materials. The firm invests through the purchase of equity interest, equity equivalent securities, and debt instruments. Arbor's investment concentration encompasses early and growth stage, private companies based in the Midwest, but may occasionally co-invest in other geographic locations. The size of initial investments is generally between $500,000 and $2 million, with the expectation that Arbor may invest up to $4 million over the life of the company. Arbor manages over $38 million in two funds. The partners have more than 40 years of successful entrepreneurial and private equity investing experience.
