Founded 2009, Arctaris is a middle market debt fund providing 'Royalty-Based' financing solutions that are non-dilutive to a company's shareholders. Arctaris targets companies seeking $1-5 million, or up to $50 million through syndication. Artcaris utilizes the TIGRcub security (an acronym for Top-line Income Generation Rights Certificates), which enables a company to raise capital that is not dilutive to current shareholders. In exchange for a cash investment, investors are repaid monthly an agreed upon fixed percentage of the company's top-line [GAAP] gross revenue. The TIGRcub is attractive for growing companies, as its underlying obligation is a function of the company's ability to repay it rather than a fixed schedule of monthly cash payments, as are typical of debt obligations, and can leave the company short of cash. The firm is able to provide funding to companies in most industries, however, Arctaris has experience within information technology, medical technology, manufacturing, and internet-related. The firm's $200M Arctaris Income Fund was launched in late 2010. Experience spans more than 11 years, 6 funds and both debt and equity investments. Arctaris has an office in Massachusetts.
