    Description:

    Audax Group, established in 1999, is a source of investment capital for middle market companies. The firm manages over $5 billion of capital through its private equity, mezzanine debt, senior secured debt and affiliate funds. The Audax team of over 70 investment professionals maintains offices in Boston, San Francisco and New York. The firm makes equity investments of $10 to $100 million in transactions valued between $15 million and $250 million. Companies should meet at least one of the following criteria: at least $5 million of EBITDA, ability to reach $5 million EBITDA within 12 months, underperforming with at least $50 million in revenue, or strategic add-on of any size. Audax Mezzanine invests in subordinated debt and junior securities of middle market companies. Audax Senior Debt invests primarily in debt securities of leveraged, non-investment grade companies backed by private equity sponsors. The group's focus is middle market companies with EBITDA between $8 million and $50 million. Audax is particularly interested in investments in the following industries: Industrial Manufacturing, Energy, Outsourced Industrial Services, Consumer Products, Healthcare Products, Non-asset based Logistics, Technology, Aerospace and Defense, Business Services, and Direct Marketing.
