Established in 1989, Austin Technology Incubator (ATI) supports promising high growth companies in a variety of technology-based industries through a targeted services package which includes strategic advice, access to financing, marketing & PR support, benefits program, mentoring, and turn-key infrastructure. The center occupies 45,000 sq. ft. in the MCC building in NW Austin and is supported by the University of Texas, the City of Austin, and the Austin community. Since its founding, ATI has worked with over 200 teams of entrepreneurs, who collectively have raised over $2 billion dollars in investor capital while at ATI. ATI's graduate companies number over 500, including 10 that have gone public and over a dozen that have been acquired. Annually, ATI typically admits 5-10 companies out of a prospective 100-150 that apply.
