Bascom Ventures is a community of accredited UW-Madison alums who pool money into a VC fund to invest in UW-connected companies. The group creates a diverse portfolio for its investors, co-investing with leading VC funds across industry, stage, and geography. Bascom's goal is to raise a new fund each year that benefits entrepreneurs, the school's ecosystem, and investors. Bascom is a private, for profit, ROI-driven, and not affiliated with University of Wisconsin-Madison. The firm has over 80 portfolio companies.
