Blackford Capital is a private investment firm that acquires, manages, and builds middle-market manufacturing, distribution, and service companies. Blackford has engaged in transactions valued at over $650 million in 34 acquisitions. The firm is particularly interested in investment opportunities where the management team will remain with the company. Blackford Capital manages two investment vehicles: the Michigan Prosperity Fund and the National Growth Practice. The firm generally looks for opportunities with the following criteria: revenues of $20 million - $200 million; EBITDA of $3 million - $20 million; and industries that are low-tech manufacturing/distribution and service companies with industrial/ business customer bases in mature and growing industries.
