BrainStorm Ventures was founded in July 1999 by Keith Cox, Eduardo Rallo, and Zev Zaidman with a mission to fund emerging companies in Enabling Technologies, Enterprise Software/Private Networks, and Broadband/Networking Infrastructure. BrainStorm Ventures focuses on seed and early stage funding and has 22 portfolio companies. Most of BrainStorm's investments are in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area, however, the firm also targets a select number of international opportunities leveraging its portfolio companies' technologies.
