Breton Capital Management, LLC is a private equity firm specializing in investing in special situations. Founder, Douglas Suliman is a private investor, and since February 2011 has served as President of Breton Capital Management. Mr. Suliman has also served since February 2011 as the Managing Member of Breton Funding SE, LLC, which has majority control of SmartEquip, Inc., an e-commerce network service provider for global equipment manufacturers and their large mobile equipment fleet customers. James Palermo is also a Founding Partner at Breton Capital Management, where he is responsible for investment evaluation and selection, fund raising, and portfolio company oversight. Prior to joining Breton Capital Management, Mr. Palermo served as Vice Chairman of BNY Mellon and Chairman of BNY Mellon New England. In 27 years with BNY Mellon, his roles included CEO of Asset Servicing and CEO of Global Client Management.
