CHB Capital Partners was founded with the objective of providing closely-held and family-owned businesses with the equity capital and expertise required for smooth ownership transitions and sustained growth. CHB makes minority and majority investments in three types of transactions: leveraged recapitalizations, management-led buyouts, and growth equity investments. CHB focuses on growing, profitable companies at the smaller end of the middle market. While CHB has the ability to invest in larger transactions, most of the firm's deals will fall in the following ranges: Revenue: $10-$200 million; EBITDA: $2-$15 million; Transaction Value: $10-$75 million; and Equity Investment: $3-$15 million. CHB invests in niche manufacturing, distribution and service businesses across an array of sectors from branded apparel to electronics manufacturing. Despite this diversified industry approach, CHB avoids investing in startups, turnarounds or in commodity driven sectors such as real estate, construction and natural resources.
