Founded in 1990, the CapStreet Group, formerly Summit Capital Group, invests in middle market companies primarily in Texas and other Sunbelt states. CapStreet manages three investment funds totaling more than $400 million. Since inception, CapStreet has invested in 40 middle market companies with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $1.5 billion. The firm typically invests $10 to $25 million of equity for transactions having enterprise values of less than $150 million in Leveraged buyouts; Going private transactions for a public company; Growth capital; and Recapitalization of a privately held or family owned company. The firm announced the final closing of CapStreet IV, L.P. (May of 2014) at $340M. CapStreet targets industrial and diversified business service companies, with annual EBITDA between $3 million and $15 million.
