Catalus Capital is a multi-strategy private equity firm founded in early 2011. It is composed of two strategies: Catalus Growth Partners, a buyout fund focused on acquiring majority stakes in growing technology companies, and Catalus Special Opportunities, focused on finding deep value in corporate, real estate, and esoteric assets. Catalus Growth Partners (CGP) focuses on majority acquisitions of technology businesses with significant expansion potential. CGP typically utilizes no leverage and has an indefinite hold period for its investments. Catalus is a joint venture between Marek Olszewski and Michael Freeburg, owner of Greenwich Wealth Management, a firm with over $1 billion in client assets. Catalus's target investment size is between $10 million to $40 million in companies generating $2 million to $30 million of EBITDA. Since its inception in 2011 it has closed: $500mm of deals out of its funds16 platforms; one of which encompassed 33 investments.
