Centennial Investors was created in 2006 to meet the early capital needs of University and private sector entrepreneurs. The Centennial Angel Network provides its members a forum in which to efficiently evaluate promising, early-stage investment opportunities. Membership consists of active, accredited investors who share the goal of making informed, collaborative investments in promising, early-stage mid-Missouri companies. Network members are assessed a $500 annual membership fee, or $750 for a couple, which includes the cost of the dinner meetings. Network investors prefer deals needing $150,000 to $500,000 in equity capital. The Centennial Catalyst Fund was created to help fledgling companies succeed. The fund makes investments up to $25,000, often representing the first outside capital raised for the company. All investment decisions are made by a committee appointed by the Centennial Catalyst Fund board of directors. Centennial Investors has invested more than $12 million in 30+ startups.
