Champlain Capital Partners, LP is a $140,000,000 private equity fund dedicated to working with owners and management teams of middle-market companies. The firm provides equity capital and financial, strategic, and operational expertise to assist owners and management teams in providing liquidity for shareholders, making strategic acquisitions, and financing major capital expenditures or growth programs. Since 1992, the partners have invested over $900 million in more than 70 companies. Champlain considers companies with revenues of between $10 million and $100 million, and an EBITDA of $3 to $15 million. Champlain will evaluate acquisition candidates located anywhere within the United States. Champlain will consider investment in a broad range of manufacturing, service and distribution industries. The firm typically does not invest in turnaround situations. Champlain has an additional office in Boston.
