Cherrystone Angel Group, founded in 2004 with more than 50 members, is Rhode Island's first organized angel investment group. All the group's members are experienced and qualified investors who have either built their own companies or have extensive experience launching new business ventures. Their backgrounds include creating or working with manufacturing, distribution, technology, and service companies. Cherrystone looks for innovative early stage and established companies that address a significant market opportunity where their investment and experience can make a difference. Typically, Cherrystone will invest between $250,000 and $500,000 to help companies grow to the next stage.
