Claremont focuses on IT sectors where its partners have domain expertise, including - but not limited to - energy efficiency, IT healthcare, sensor based systems and security markets. The firm's $130 million Claremont Creek Fund I includes as its investors Harvard Management Company, The Regents of the University of California, Verizon Pension Fund and other premier investors. The portfolio of Fund I will ultimately comprise between 20 and 25 early stage companies.
