    Description:

    Between 2000 and 2011 Clarity Partners L.P. and Clarity Partners II L.P. made investments in media, communications, and business services. Today Clarity Partners is evaluating a broader range of transactions both in and outside our historical sector focus. Other sectors of interest include energy, natural resources and basic industries. Investments typically have revenues of at least $20 million and are EBITDA-positive or imminently so; additionally, investments will be led by strong and energetic management teams, are industry leaders or have dominant positions in attractive niches, have established scalable business models, demonstrate a sustainable competitive advantage and have significant growth opportunities. Clarity Partners typically invests $15 million to $100 million of equity per portfolio company, with an average investment size of approximately $40 million. The firm generally invests in growth equity investments, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and divisional divestitures. Historically, a significant proportion of the companies invested in have been based in southern California. The firm's related fund, Clarity China Partners, targets the greater China region.
