The Colorado Impact Fund is a venture capital fund dedicated to supporting local companies that generate consistent investment returns in addition to positive community outcomes. Managed by an affiliate of Vestar Capital Partners, the Colorado Impact Fund's investors include some of Colorado's most respected executives, families, foundations and corporations. The Fund looks for Colorado-based companies that create attractive risk-adjusted returns while intentionally producing positive community outcomes.and beyond. The Colorado Impact Fund targets initial investments of $500k - $2 million per portfolio company, planning to make 10 to 12 investments in the next three to five years. CIF typically invests in Series A, Series B, or growth stage rounds. CIF looks for investment opportunities where the company is beyond proof of concept--and generally $1 million or more of annualized commercial sales.
