Colorcon Ventures invests in and supports entrepreneurs developing transformational pharmaceutical industry solutions. Investment in innovative pharmaceutical industry solutions including: Technologies to improve patient compliance and medication adherence; Solutions to authenticate dosage forms and reduce impact of diversion and counterfeiting of medications; Transformational technologies disrupting conventional dosage delivery pathways; Smart technologies for digital and personalized medicines; Breakthrough technologies and advanced manufacturing processes; Other intelligent solutions to address unmet needs in pharmaceutical technology or supply chains. Colorcon has partnered with Touchdown Ventures to manage Colorcon Ventures, a $50 million venture fund focused on startups that are strategically relevant to the core Colorcon business. The fund will target investments in transformational solutions across manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery of pharmaceutical products and services. The fund is not investing in companies developing active ingredients or molecules. The typical initial investment is $1-3 million.
