Concentric is the direct investing arm of Financial Investments Corporation (FIC), a private asset management firm with over $2 billion in private equity commitments under management. Concentric is a corporate sponsored private equity firm supported by direct investments from companies such as the ServiceMaster Company and over 40 individual operating executives from service related industries. Concentric is a second generation of a captive corporate venture fund launched on behalf of ServiceMaster in 1995. This initial fund completed seven strategic investments over a four-year period. Concentric will consider growth investments, management buyouts, and later stage venture capital investments, and has invested across a varied range of investment stages, types of securities, and minority or majority interest investments. Concentric's capital under management is approximately $35 million. Concentric typically invests between $10-$30 million of equity per project. However, the firm's historical equity investments have ranged in size from $5-$100 million for a single investment. Preferred industries include: Business Services, Consumer Services, Financial Services, and Healthcare Services.
