Credit Suisse Private Equity, the global private equity arm of Credit Suisse, is one of the largest managers of alternative assets in the world, with more than $33 billion of private equity managed assets. Credit Suisse Private Equity is comprised of investment funds that focus on domestic and international leveraged buyouts, structured equity investments, mezzanine investments, real estate investments, growth capital investments, and investments in other private equity funds. Credit Suisse Private Equity has completed more than 800 transactions with an aggregate transaction value of over $120 billion, and can provide large private equity commitments in excess of $1 billion. Buyout capital is typically invested in the $20 million to $200 million range in companies with enterprise value ranging from $200 million to $2 billion.
