Crocker Ventures is an independent, privately held life science and healthcare investment firm that funds promising seed- and early-stage life science companies in four primary areas: biotechnology & pharmaceuticals, medical devices, drug delivery and diagnostics. The firm invests its own capital and was founded by Gary Crocker. Crocker is also the current Chairman of the Board for Merrimack Pharmaceuticals, the former Chairman of the Board for ARUP Laboratories in Research Park, and past President and CEO of Research Medical, Inc., which he founded in 1983. Forbes magazine recognized his firm for six consecutive years as one of 'America's Best 200 Small Companies.' He was one of the original investors in Theratech, Inc., and served as Vice President for Business Development for Sorenson Research.
