DFW was founded in 1983 to provide private equity capital to high-growth, lower middle-market service companies, generally defined as businesses with annual revenues of up to $200 million and annual EBITDA of less than $20 million. DFW Capital Partners focuses on acquiring and growing service oriented businesses in the Healthcare, Business Services, and Industrial Services industries. DFW actively manages several pools of committed private capital, with over $500 million in aggregate funded commitments. Through a subsidiary, DFW also operates a licensed SBIC. The firm generally invests between $5 million and $10 million per transaction, and up to $40 million with support of limited partners. Over the past 15 years, DFW has closed 25 platform investments and over 60 add-on acquisitions on behalf of its platform companies.
