The Deming Center Venture Fund (DCVF) is setup to promote and foster entrepreneurship and early-stage investing throughout the CU and Front Range communities. The fund attracts and develops Leeds MBA and other CU graduate students through an applied venture capital investment experience. The Deming Center Venture Fund (DCVF) supports emerging companies in Boulder and surrounding communities. The Fund is managed by Leeds MBA and Colorado Law School students. Part of the Leeds School of Business (at the University of Colorado at Boulder), the Robert H. and Beverly A. Deming Center for Entrepreneurship was founded in 1995, and adopted the tagline of 'Entrepreneurs pioneering a sustainable world' in 2005 to represent its commitment to sustainable entrepreneurship. Deming Center programs offer tomorrow's entrepreneurial leaders an entree into the fast-changing world of sustainable business opportunities, with a focus on the growing fields of clean technology and renewable energy. Although investment size will vary greatly, the median capital investment of the Fund is targeted at $25,000 supporting raises of less than $1,000,000. A co-invested round could total significantly more than the target median.
