Dow Venture Capital (VC) invests in promising start-up companies in North America, Europe and Asia. The firm invests on businesses based on four megatrends: Agricultural, Consumer & Lifestyle, Energy, and Infrastructure & Transportation. The firm invests, in part, through institutional venture capital firms, and across all stages of development--from seed to later stage. Dow has developed a broad network of VC partners that specialize in the company's targeted investment markets and geographies. Typically, Dow VC takes active minority positions in syndicated investments within the following guidelines: Minimum investment: $250,000; Preferred investment: $500,000 to $5,000,000; and Geographies: U.S., Canada, Europe, and Japan.
