Earthrise is a venture capital fund targeting sustainable energy, power and water technologies. Launched in 2008, the fund invests primarily in early-stage companies, and opportunistically in later stage ventures located in North America. Earthrise's target industries include a broad range of new energy and industrial technologies and services designed to improve the efficiency, environmental performance, safety and security of critical resource use and production. This includes sustainable energy technologies, such as solar, wind power, geothermal; power electronics, power storage, and energy efficiency; water treatment, green chemistry and new materials for these sectors.
