FA Technology Ventures provides growth capital to early and expansion stage companies in the Technology, Enterprise Software, Autonomous Robotics, and Energy Technology spaces. FA makes new investments of $3 to $8 million, and targets investing up to $15 million in any one opportunity. Investments are made primarily in the Northeast, with a preference for New York-based companies. The company has a history of working with the development labs of innovation centers such as MIT Labs, Siemens R&D, and Cornell's NanoScale Science & Technology Center, and also considers opportunities where significant investment went into the development of a technology, without product commercialization or market traction. FA does not make seed stage investments. Fully 63% of the FATV Portfolio has no venture-backed competition; we bring unique diversification to our LPs. In 95% of FATV investments, FATV is the lead investor.
