Falfurrias Capital Partners is a Charlotte, N.C.-based private equity investment firm that acquires or invests in well-positioned businesses in high-growth markets, while building market share through add-on acquisitions. The firm was founded in 2006 by Hugh McColl, Jr., the former Chairman and CEO of Bank of America, and Marc Oken, the former CFO of Bank of America. The firm is focused on making private equity investments in a diverse portfolio of companies operating in the southern United States and targets transaction values greater than $10 million, with equity investments greater than $3 million, in companies with revenues in excess of $10 million and EBITDA of $3 to $25 million. Falfurrias' favored industries include financial services, consumer products, healthcare, building products, diversified manufacturing, business services, education, training, information services, infrastructure services, and value-added distribution. Twelve portfolio investments have been realized.
