Fintech Ventures makes equity investments in emerging potential leaders and quality niche players in the non-banking lending, payments, and insuretech spaces. The firm is focused on investing in financial technology companies, from venture-backing to their growth/mature stages of development. Fintech makes investments through two funds: Venture Fund (Venture stage fund focused on Seed to Series B Investment. Ideal target should have generated revenues, demonstrated traction, and proved product/market fit), and Special Situations Fund (Growth stage investment fund, focusing on middle market companies. Ideal target is profitable or has clear path to profitability, but requires turnaround expertise and/or restructurings of existing operations to create additional value). Target sectors include: Alternative Lending, Payments, Customer Acquisition, and Data Analytics. Fintech Ventures considers investments between $1 million and $10 million with the Venture Fund, and investments up to $30 million per transaction with the Special Situations Fund. Initial investments are $250,000 - $1,000,000.
