Founder's Co-op is a seed-stage angel investment fund started in 2008 that also runs Techstars Seattle, the region's #1 startup accelerator and part of the global Techstars network. In 2014 it partnered with the University of Washington and UpGlobal to create Startup Hall, a new center of gravity for the region's innovation economy in Seattle's University District. Founder's Co-op invests between $100,000 and $500,000 in early-stage startups. Backers of Founders Co-op include Concur president Raj Singh; Ontela co-founder Dan Shapiro; Swype CEO Mike McSherry; AdReady CEO Karl Siebrecht; angel investor Vijay Vashee and more than 50 others from the technology community. Founder's Co-op has invested in more than 128 companies, which have raised over $2.5 billion in funding.
