The group's Angel Investor Forum is an investor group that provides early stage and growth capital across all sectors to women entrepreneurs, looking for a typical valuation at first funding below $5 million. Golden Seeds typically invests between $250,000 and $2,000,000 in the first round and prefers the following industries: consumer products, software, internet, financial services, and life sciences. Golden Seeds has more than 325 accredited investors, with locations in New York, Boston and San Francisco/Palo Alto. Golden Seeds 2 LP is the company's most current fund, with two investments as of March 2011: Hatsize and Cognition Therapeutics. Fund 2 is expected to build a portfolio of over 20 companies through 2013.
