Granite Creek Partners is a Chicago-based private asset manager founded in 2005 to make investments in the debt, equity and equity derivatives of small businesses. Granite Creek pursues situations where a highly customized solution is desired to support growth, change of control, restructuring, or recapitalization. The Fund seeks fundamentally good companies that operate in niche sectors and require structured securities not offered by most financial institutions. Often these businesses are market leaders led by visionary management teams. In private equity, Granite seeks to invest $10 to $30 million in companies with an enterprise value of $25 to $100 million and an EBITDA of $3 to $15 million. Top industries include Food/ Agribusiness; Medical Devices & Instruments; and Transportation. For mezzanine, Granite invests $3 to $10 million in companies with annual revenues greater than $10 million. Granite Creek's current portfolio consists of investments in the following industries: business services, consumer services, consumer products distribution, manufacturing, and healthcare. Granite Creek brings decades of experience in private equity, lending, strategy and operations across 80+ deals over the course of 30+ years.
