The Grantham Foundation was established in 1997 by Jeremy and Hannelore Grantham.
Jeremy and Hannelore set the direction of the Foundation and Trust. Jeremy is co-founder and Chairman of investment management firm GMO, which manages nearly $65B. Grantham's impact investments are made via the Grantham Trust's environmental venture capital vehicle, Neglected Climate Opportunities LLC, in partnership with allied philanthropies. The organization has made multiple investments in early stage companies.
