Founded in 1993, Great Hill Partners manages more than $3 billion and invests in companies beyond the early stages. Great Hill targets investments of $25 to $500 million into growth companies operating exclusively in service industries. Great Hill will seek 10% to 85% ownership, usually over 30%, with a holding period of 3-7 years. The firm has arranged over $5 billion of expansion and acquisition financing, spanning over 100 portfolio companies and 250 consolidating acquisitions. Great Hill targets companies with service provider business models with recurring revenue within the communications, information technology, media and business services industries. Great Hill primarily invests in the U.S., as well as special situations in Europe and Latin America. Since the firm's inception, Great Hill has raised over $12 billion of commitments and invested in more than 99 companies.
