Greybull Stewardship is an investment fund that invests in businesses to hold the investments -- not to 'exit'. Founded in 2010, Greybull prefers businesses located in the western United States and does not invest in turn-around situations, unproven business models or unproven technology, companies without management or where management will leave post-investment, very capital-intensive businesses, or restaurants or retail businesses. The fund is industry agnostic, focusing instead on lower middle market companies with EBITDA under $5 million, and have consistently earned $500,000 to $5,000,000 in pre-tax profit.
