Grubstakes is an informal network of 50+ angel investors in Seattle that fund and mentor startups in the Pacific Northwest: Washington, Oregon and British Columbia, but will also venture into CA, MT and ID. The group specializes in early stage startups, from ideation to series A, usually seeking to raise $100k to $1M in either preferred stock, SAFEs or convertible notes. Grubstakes is sector agnostic although focus is on companies that rely on a strong Computer Science core as the basis of their competitive advantage.
