Founded 2006 by Michael Dearing, Harrison Metal invests in seed stage, technology driven companies led by exceptional entrepreneurs. The firm invests in startups, specializing in consumer web, product, product marketing, and new product development. Typically Harrison makes about 10 new investments per year. The money comes from institutions -- universities, endowments, foundations -- and from Dearing. The realized returns so far mostly have come from PopCap, Heroku, Craftsy, and Mopub.
