HealthEdge Investment Partners is an operating-oriented private equity firm, founded in 2005, that focuses exclusively on the healthcare industry. HealthEdge acquires control or significant minority ownership in both public and private companies with enterprise values between $10 and $100 million. The firm targets companies in niche segments where the partners have extensive expertise in the following sectors: medical products, equipment and devices; healthcare services; healthcare information technology; selected pharmaceutical segments; and specialty distribution. HealthEdge seeks to acquire established businesses in healthcare meeting the following financial and ownership characteristics: Enterprise Value between $10 million and $100 million; Revenues between $5 million and $75 million; and EBITDA from $2 million to $15 million. HealthEdge will invest equity capital of $5 to $20 million per company from the fund. In addition, the firm's limited partners give HealthEdge access to additional equity, which enables them to provide $20-$25 million or more to any one opportunity. The investment team and operating partners have over 200 years of combined operating and investing experience in healthcare.
