Heron Capital is a private investment partnership with a focus on niche manufacturing and healthcare. Heron Capital's first investment vehicle is Heron Capital Venture Fund (the Fund). The Fund is an early stage investor focused on medical devices, diagnostics and tools, and is fully deployed. Heron Capital's current investment vehicle is Heron Capital Equity Partners (HCEP). HCEP seeks to invest in, acquire or recapitalize small to middle market companies in niche manufacturing or healthcare. HCEP is not a private equity fund; rather, a group of professional investors and operators investing their own money to acquire private companies. Heron looks for companies with earnings up to $4M that are based in the United States, and prefer those headquartered in the Midwest. Heron seeks small market companies with growth potential, and will consider underperforming companies, looking to invest in companies with the potential to achieve a fully burdened gross margin of greater than 35%.
