Founded in 1999, Huron Capital Partners is a Midwest-based equity investment firm investing in growing, lower middle-market, established and profitable companies. Huron Capital Partners' strategy is to acquire or recapitalize niche manufacturers, value-added distributors and specialty service companies. Generally, these companies hold strong niche market positions and have identifiable growth opportunities. Huron has raised and manages over $1.8 billion in equity through six private equity funds, The Huron Fund, LP ($72 million, vintage-2000), The Huron Fund II, LP ($185 million, vintage-2005), and The Huron Fund III, LP ($350 million, vintage-2008). The firm will invest $50+ million in equity to sponsor management buyouts, corporate spin-offs, recapitalizations, family successions, and buy & build strategies of well-positioned companies having revenues of $20 to $200 million (EBITDA $5 million or more). The firm will customize its transactions to meet each owner's liquidity, diversification and tax objectives. Huron Capital invests in the U.S. and Canada with offices located in Detroit and Ontario.
