The firm invests in companies through its fund of funds and direct investing. Jacobs Capital Group was formed by Dr. Joseph J. Jacobs, the founder of Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE:JEC), with his long-time business partners Alex Suh and William Hanna. Jacobs invests in private equity funds of various sizes, investment specialties, and regional focuses. The Group invests in both established and emerging venture funds in the U.S. and abroad.
