LFE Capital was founded in 1999 by Leslie Frecon and provides expansion or buyout capital to high-growth second-stage companies. LFE Capital provides junior capital to revenue generating companies that are seeking expansion capital to grow their businesses or buyout capital to restructure the ownership of their businesses. LFE's sector preferences are Business Services, Health, and Consumer, as well as a special focus on businesses that are owned or led by women and businesses that target female consumers. The firm invests $2-$7 million over the life of each investment and will consider larger transactions with co-investors. LFE's geographic focus is the Upper Midwest, investing in established businesses with revenues of $2-20 million and at least $1 million of annual cash flow; and emerging businesses with at least $5 million of revenue and within 12 months of break-even cash flow. In 2020, 3 million unique users engaged in over 48 million minutes of wellness content across LFE Capital’s platforms.
