Founded in 2012, Link-age Ventures is a for profit investment company that seeks to invest in early-stage businesses that provide products, services, and technology to older adults and their caregivers. The firm was created by Link-age, a nonprofit made up of 600 senior living communities in 39 states. In December 2012, Link-age Ventures announced a recent investment in the Alliance Healthcare Investment Fund broadening their investment scope to early-stage and growth-stage companies in the healthcare industry. Up to $5,000,000 of the fund will be devoted to early stage opportunities, generally in companies that have been associated with LeadingAge's CAST or the Innovator's Alliance. The contracting team has over 150 years combined experience in the non-acute space.
