According to published reports, Jeff Bezos' ex-wife MacKenzie Scott's family office is called Lost Horse LLC, a Seattle-based vehicle set up in late 2019 that oversees her philanthropic donations, among other projects. The family office is run by president Carlos Rodrigues, who joined in mid-2020 after serving as a top executive at the family office of Josh Harris. Additional key aides at her family office who have been involved in communicating with nonprofits include Judy Wang and a philanthropic consultant named Hillary Chen. According to the Seattle Times, her spate of giving has now reached 1,257 groups, from little-known charities to mainstream organizations like Habitat for Humanity, which last month received $436 million, her largest known gift. Scott, 52, has a fortune that hovers around $50 billion, according to Forbes magazine.
