The firm's investments are focused on packaging, consumer products, food and building material, automotive, aerospace and business services related businesses. The firm explores opportunities with Transaction Values of $10 to $400 million; Revenues of $15 milion to $500 million; and EBITDA of $2 million to $50 million for platform companies. The firm requires no minimum EBITDA for add-on acquisitions. All platform companies must be headquartered in the United States, with no geographic preference for add-on acquisitions. The firm's partners have over the course of their careers invested or advised in over 100 companies deploying over $4.5 billion of investment capital. MERK Capital has over the past several years been able to partner up with a wide range of investors, including both high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional groups to invest in businesses that range in size from $20 million to $2.5 billion in revenues.
