Metropolitan Partners Group (formerly Metropolitan Equity Partners) is a private equity firm specializing in special situation investments, growth financing, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, industry consolidation, and turnarounds, in emerging growth, later stage, mature, and lower middle market companies. The firm also provides mezzanine and bridge loan financings. Metropolitan prefers to make equity investments between $10 million and $50 million and debt investments between $5 million and $40 million in companies with enterprise value of $10 million to $100 million, maximum sales value of $50 million, and maximum EBITDA of $10 million. To date, Metropolitan has invested in over 75 companies as both debt and equity. The firm is currently seeking to make $3 million to $20 million investments from its Metropolitan Partners Fund III. The firm raised (October 2018) $172 million, including co-investment rights, for its fifth and largest direct lending fund Metropolitan Partners Fund V.
